We had excellent turnout for trail maintenance We were able to make some significant improvements to the Novice and Advanced trails, rerouting a number of problem areas and removing some annoying roots. Anyone who rides these trails regularly will appreciate what we accomplished. Thanks to all our helpers. |
| April 26 Trail: District Park Members: Mike Benton, Bernie Farmer, Kirk Moore, and Penny We connected the end of the IMBA trail section to the end of the single track trail. Now you can ride single track all the way around - no more fire road. It's about a 1/4 mile. |
| April 13 Trail: Waller Mill. Members: Joe Bacs, Mike Benton, Matt Johnson and Kirk Moore The trail was waterlogged and with numerous tree-falls. We had an impromptu trail maintenance, instead of a group ride. We cut out 4 downed trees and drained a number of mud holes. Look for a nice new obstacle at mile post 1 (Yee-Hah). Thanks also to the rider who stopped to lend a hand. |

Anyone who has ridden Marl's Ravine since then will be impressed with what we accomplished. The sketchy downhill to the 2-mile post is now a sweet benchcut downhill into a wellbanked turn.
