The Eastern Virginia Mountainbike Association was started in 1988 by a dedicated group of cyclists in order to ensure that mountain bikers in the Tidewater, Virginia area would continue to have places to ride and enjoy the sport of Mountain Biking.

  • 1ST ANNUAL MOUNTAIN BIKE MARATHON
    (This is NOT a race) One loop on each trail in our trail system (Upper County, Wahrani, York River, Freedom, and New Quarter) for a total of 60 miles. Sunday August 17. Contact Robert Maye at rmaye29@yahoo.com for details.

  • FALL BIKE FESTIVAL:
    A Fall Bike Festival is in the planning stages. If you
    want to be on the planning team, or volunteer your
    time and/or talents for the event, please let Robert
    know.

  • A GENERAL NOTE ON TRAIL MAINTENANCE:
    If there is movable debris on the trail, please take a moment to remove it, but don't alter or re-route any trails without prior approval and don't cut the trail. If you see a tree down on a trail, or an area that needs work, make note of the location and let Kirk know. If we all pitch in to maintain the trails, it
    makes them enjoyable for ALL to ride.
